Over the years Zainab has actively looked for learning opportunities that she truly felt would contribute to her craft, further improve patient experiences and outcomes, and ultimately finesse her constantly evolving skills. Zainab has been a part of the Plastic Surgery world and injectable industry since 2003. She has been fortunate enough to be able to witness the evolution of all dermal fillers since the days of collagen products such as cosmoderm and cosmoplast to the subsequent birth of Juvederm and Restylane. She has also watched the evolution of all neurotoxins ranging from the original Botox through present day toxins. When Zainab selects a product to use her choices are fueled by well thought out plans and vast experience.
Several years ago Zainab took a deep dive into an elaborate system that truly categorizes specific areas of the face in a strategic, yet systematic, way to deliver injectable therapy. Although her skill set was already well established, this system further ignited her passion and was truly the icing on the cake. Zainab defines herself as a structural injector, one who enjoys restoring a patients natural structure prior to chasing small lines and imperfections that are truly the result of something greater. The MD Codes spoke to Zainab clearly, in a way that made perfect sense, and was therefore something that was natural in implementation within her practice.
The system, the MD Codes, were created by Brazilian Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mauricio DeMaio. Dr. DeMaio was the physician behind the launch of Juvederm Voluma back in 2014 and has published several peer reviewed articles defining the MD Codes implementation, outcomes and exceptional duration. He is likely the highest volume injector of the Juvederm portfolio of fillers globally and is also sought after globally for training and education on how he implants the Codes. Dr. DeMaio’s MD Codes Institute proudly claims that they do not train injectors but rather they create experts. Zainab agrees. After having been an active part of this industry for the past two decades Zainab has yet to find any other system that even remotely compares to the MD Codes and the results they can deliver non-surgically.
